MANILA, PHILIPPINES, 12 August 2021 – HUAWEI has officially launched its first flagship standalone monitor in the Philippines — the HUAWEI MateView. This premium monitor is up for pre-order from August 13 to 20 on the official HUAWEI Online Store, flagship stores on Lazada and Shopee, and HUAWEI Experience Stores nationwide. It retails locally for Php 34,999 and can be availed with a free classic HUAWEI Backpack with Php 5,990 during the pre-order period.
The HUAWEI MateView, as the flagship monitor and a new member of the Mate family, boasts a powerful set of hardware and software within its thin frame. It features a 28.2-inch display panel that exceeds 4K resolution, coupled with incredible color representation. It also sports the 3:2 productivity screen ratio of the MateBook family, and supports 98 percent of the DCI-P3 color gamut and 100 percent of the sRGB color gamut. Having been professionally calibrated during development to accurately produce colors, the HUAWEI MateView has a color accuracy rating of ΔE <1 in sRGB mode and ΔE <2 in DCI-P3 mode.
HUAWEI MateView comes with a simple, symmetrical design for future-proofing build quality. The premium standalone monitor achieves an impressive screen-to-body ratio of 94 percent with a screen thickness as thin as 9.3mm thanks to its ultra-thin bezels. Edge-to-edge screen aside, the back of the HUAWEI MateView colored in Mystic Silver completes the minimal and integrated design.
The new HUAWEI MateView also enables wireless connection for instant collaboration among devices, allowing for more effective multi-device operation as well.
