Soundpeats True Capsule, Truefree+, and TrueDot – Which one is better?

Most of us are having problems untangling the wires of our earphones. That’s why many prefer to use TWS instead of wired earphones. Soundpeats has given us a lot of good options. Soundpeats True Capsule, Truefree+, and TrueDot – Which one is better?

Sound Quality

The sound quality is good. The bass is average and just enough for you to appreciate the music you are listening to. I like that it also has control volumes.

Audio Quality

The microphone captured my voice crystal clear. However, when I added background noise, it was not able to completely separate my voice from the noise. I sounded like I was submerged in water.

We just have to be careful when using it with calls. Once when I used it with Zoom Meeting, I tried to push both TWS to my ear so it won’t fall. After that, I got disconnected from the call. It has a gesture that when you pushed both TWS, you will end the call. So just in case, you want to buy this, just be careful not to press both earphones at the same time.

Sound Quality

Without any exaggeration, I was surprised by this TWS. The sound quality is very impressive. I tried playing Melancholy hill of Gorillas and My Juliana and Four of Spades.

I was able to hear all the bass in Melancholy Hill. Even the very little details in My Juliana were also heard. I highly recommend this for those who are audio file. This TWS is definitely better than Sabbath E12 and Sabbath X12 Ultra. They also use button controls so you can control it more accurately.

Audio Quality

Just like TrueCapsule, my voice was very clear without any background noises. However, when I added background noise, I still sounded like I was submerged in water. It sounds a bit better though than in True Capsule. Nevertheless, my voice is audible and understandable.

Two things to note if you are choosing this over Sabbath E12 or Sabbath X12 Ultra:

  1. It doesn’t have USB-C and Wireless Charging capability
  2. Since it doesn’t have a Qualcomm Chipset, it is also not capable of aptX codec.

TrueDot

Sound Quality

The sound quality is somewhere in between the Truefree+ and the True Capsule.

Not as good as Truefree+ but definitely better than True Capsule. I am not a fan of its gestures though. It’s a bit weird for me.

Audio Quality

The Microphone is impressive. It was able to separate my voice with background noise.

Prices:

As of May 2020

Truecapsule: P1,990.00

Truefree+: P1,990.00

TrueDot: P1,690.00

Final Verdict

Truefree+ is definitely the winner for me. Impressive Sound Quality and Audio quality. I also love the hassle-free control buttons. It even has better sound quality than the Sabbath E12 or Sabbath X12 Ultra.

If you are an audio file, go for Soundpeats TrueFree+. But if you are a normal user, all of these Soundpeats TWS is definitely a good choice.
